A Supportive Learning Community
The College of Health and Human Services is a supportive learning
community of acclaimed teachers, researchers and clinicians, and
students. Our academic departments include communication disorders,
family studies, health management and policy, kinesiology, nursing, occupational therapy, recreation management
and policy, and social work.
All departments offer undergraduate instruction leading to a bachelor
of science, or, in the case of social work, the bachelor of arts
degree. Most offer graduate study leading to a master of science
degree. See departmental pages for specific graduate programs.
Close Faculty-student Contact
The hallmark of all our programs includes close faculty-student relationships, an emphasis on applied research, and curricula that blend professional and liberal arts education with internship and field experiences for undergraduates and graduate students.
