National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association
Students enrolled in either the bachelor’s or master’s
degree programs in CSD are eligible for membership in the UNH chapter
of the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSSLHA).
The mission of NSSLHA is to benefit its members by continually improving
its support, promotion, and advocacy of the highest quality preparation
of professionals in audiology, speech-language pathology, and speech
and hearing science.
Participation in the association is an excellent way to become involved
in the major and to form lasting friendships. The UNH chapter has
traditionally been active in community service activities, such
as nursing home excursions, fund-raising activities, such as the
annual Walk by the Sea to benefit those with traumatic brain injury,
and departmental activities, such as the annual department graduation
celebration.
