Public Health Certificate Program Description
Public Health Certificate Admission Requirements
Admissions are done through the UNH Graduate School for fall and spring semester. The Admissions Committee uses previous academic records, current experience, and recommendations as indicators of success. Interviews with the MPH Program Assistant Coordinator are encouraged.
An application must include:
1. Completed UNH Application for admission to a Graduate Certificate Program as a Primary Degree
2. Answer to five essay questions (in lieu of completing the personal statement question on the Graduate School Application form.)
3. Official transcripts from previous undergraduate education
4. Current resume
5. Three letters of recommendation
If you are currently a student in a graduate degree program at UNH and you would like to apply to the Public Health Certificate Program as a secondary degree, the required application documents include:
- Completed UNH Application for admission to a Graduate Certificate Program as a Secondary Degree
- Answer to five essay questions (in lieu of completing a Letter of Application)
- Your curriculum vitae
- Statement of support from your Advisor, Graduate Program Coordinator, or Department Chair.*
*If your primary degree designation is the MPH degree, then you do NOT need to submit a statement of support.
