Grant Opportunity for UNH Faculty & Graduate Students

The Institute on Disability would like to announce its first Innovative Research Initiative designed to support faculty and graduate students affiliated with the University of New Hampshire in the development of interdisciplinary research and evaluation projects that address issues relevant to individuals with disabilities and their families. To achieve this goal, the Institute on Disability will award up to two grants to provide project funding for a one-year period.  Proposals may request up to $10,000 in support and applications are now being accepted for the 2006-2007 year.

Application guidelines and a cover sheet are attached and additional copies are available from the Institute on Disability (10 West Edge Drive, Suite 101). The deadline for receipt of proposals is 4:00 pm on Monday April 24, 2006.  Awards will be announced by May 15, 2006 and funds will be available for summer 2006.
