Eta Iota Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau
President’s welcome
It is a pleasure to welcome you to Eta Iota's Web site. We hope this is a way for you to learn about us as an organization and about our events. Our chapter newsletter is available on-line. Membership information and applications for our research awards are also available.
I am excited to be working with a dedicated and visionary board of directors. We are a group that is a strong mix of nurses from both the academic setting and from the community in various practices. We are especially eager to welcome nurses who are working in the community to apply for membership in Sigma Theta Tau's Eta Iota chapter. Community leaders being inducted and contributing scholarship and knowledge to the real work of nursing enrich the Chapter.
I also welcome those who are members to become more active in the chapter. We really do find our work together satisfying as we plan and implement our programs and activities to better the state of nursing and the knowledge of our members. I personally know many of you and your talents for organization, ideas and good fellowship.
I look forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming programs.
