Doug Simmons Travels To The New Day Foster Home in Beijing
In October 2007, assistant professor of occupational therapy Doug Simmons traveled to Beijing with his wife, physical therapist Denise Murphy-Simmons '05 and daughter Haleigh Simmons to visit and consult at the New Day Foster Home, where the Simmons’s friend Laurie Drohan ’85 is an occupational therapist. In addition to helping design and establish a therapy room for the thirty infants there, Simmons brought back video and experiences he shares with his UNH students.
