Undergraduate Admission Process
Internal Transfers
If you are already a student at UNH and have just discovered the Recreation Management & Policy Department,
we welcome an opportunity to talk with you about your interests and to discuss whether our options match your
academic and professional goals. We encourage all students interested in applying to the major, to meet
with an RMP faculty member prior to receiving an application for admission to the major. If you are interested
in the Program Administration option, please contact Dr. Bob Barcelona, rjb2@unh.edu.
If you are interested in the Therapeutic Recreation option, please contact Dr. Janet Sable,
jrsable@unh.edu.
Transfer applications for the Program Administration option are accepted throughout the year, although
admission decisions are made after the following deadline dates: October 15, March 15, and June 15.
Applications that are received after October 15 will be considered for March, those that are received after March
15 will be considered for June, and those that are received after June 15 will be considered for October.
Transfer applications for the Therapeutic Recreation option are accepted throughout the year and
decision are made on a rolling admission basis. Applications are available at the Department of Recreation
Management and Policy office located at 108 Hewitt Hall.
