Resources

One of our most valuable resources at UNH is the wonderful natural environment that surrounds us. The main campus of the University is in Durham, a small New England Town, in the seacoast region of New Hampshire. Portsmouth, a sophisticated seaport town, is just 10 miles to the east along with sandy beaches and the rocky Maine Coastline. The White Mountains are 60 miles to the north. Boston is a quick 65 miles to the south. The 200-acre campus is surrounded by more than 2,400 acres of fields, farms and woodlands owned by the University. College Woods, on the edge of campus, includes five miles of well-kept paths through 260 acres of woods.

There are numerous University resources dedicated to undergraduate and graduate students both in terms of academic and student life. We invite you to explore the University student resources at http://www.unh.edu/student-life.html and learn more about what it means to be a UNH student.
